Microneedling Service Page
Say goodbye to skin concerns like acne, wrinkles, enlarged pores, and scars with our minimally invasive microneedling procedure. At Emerald Med Spa, we cleanse your face and apply a soothing mask that leaves your skin calmer, smoother, and rejuvenated.
WHAT IS MICRONEEDLING?
Microneedling, also known as collagen induction therapy, is a cosmetic treatment that uses fine, short needles to address deep lines, stretch marks, acne scars, and overall skin rejuvenation. It’s an excellent option for those who are unsatisfied with traditional treatments like chemical peels, dermabrasion, and laser resurfacing.
This versatile treatment can be applied from the ankles to the scalp. We use the Dermaroller, a well-known microneedling device, with needle sizes ranging from 0.5 to 2.5 mm in diameter.

BENEFITS OF MICRONEEDLING

How It Works
The procedure begins with sterilizing and disinfecting the targeted area. Anesthesia is then applied and left for an hour to numb the skin and ensure your comfort. Our dermatologist at Emerald Med Spa will then perform the microneedling procedure.
The depth of the needle penetration depends on your specific treatment goals. Each session lasts around 60 minutes.

Common areas for microneedling include the neck, face, hands, and décolleté. It can also be performed on the abdomen, hips, buttocks, and thighs.
While patients may experience mild discomfort during the session, it is not typically painful. Some bleeding and micro bruises are normal as new collagen is stimulated.
Risks are minor, but some patients may experience allergic reactions, infections, or complications from follow-up care. Following the aesthetician’s aftercare instructions will help prevent these issues. All potential risks will be discussed with you before the procedure.
Microneedling should be performed by a plastic surgeon or dermatologist. Be sure to check your state’s regulations to ensure compliance. It’s crucial to have this procedure done by a board-certified professional for your safety.
